How to read this

Evidence, not certainty

Each overlay is a dated interpretation of what is visible in one photograph. Differences in season, film, shadows, labels, seams, and registration can look like landscape change. “No conclusion” means the photograph is inadequate or obscured—not that a feature disappeared.

What the record suggests

Continuity with variation

The broad open-field framework, 208 access corridor, southeastern woodland, 135 farmstead setting, and pond remain recognizable through much of the sequence. Internal field lines, edges, and vegetation vary, but exact change dates are rarely established by aerial evidence alone.

Research reference

The parcel outlines are current tax-parcel references. Historical observation geometry is anchored to 1968 and intentionally repeated across dates for comparison. The 2005 and 2015 Landsat holdings are retained as source-register metadata only, not selectable observations.
